ABC will All My Children a one-hour
The View will air a special one-hour tribute to All My Children on the very day that the soap is kicked off of the ABC Daytime lineup.
TVGuide is reporting that the ABC talk show will air a "full-hour homage" to All My Children on Friday, September 23. Emmy winner Susan Lucci (Erica Kane) will co-host with the show's regulars -- Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Elizabeth Hasslebeck, and Sherri Shepherd. Barbara Walters is reportedly not going to be part of that day's show.

The View's tribute will also feature a plethora of past and present AMC stars, including Rebecca Budig (Greenlee Smythe), Vincent Irizarry (David Hayward), Cameron Mathison (Ryan Lavery), and series creator, Agnes Nixon. There will also be some surprise guests.
TVGuide also reports that there will be never-before-seen footage from AMC's final day of production, a sneak peek at the final episode, and other surprised.
